About
Mustafa Ilhan Akbas is an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at Florida Polytechnic University. Akbas has taught at every level of department and serves as the accreditation coordinator. Prior to joining Florida Poly, Akbas was a research scholar at the University of Central Florida where he taught modeling and simulation courses and participated in projects on cyber-physical systems, innovation networks, and enterprise security applications.

Prior to earning his Ph.D., Akbas was a systems engineer at ASELSAN Electronics Inc. and worked on the design, modeling, and analysis of tactical communication networks.
