Fall 2024 On-Campus Housing

Hello Future Florida Poly Phoenixes! Ready to make campus life your own? Living on-campus at Florida Poly goes beyond just having a comfortable place to sleep and study. It's about seizing opportunities to connect with the campus, personal growth, and active participation in on-campus events. Below you will find the information to get started.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, students who receive a housing agreement for Phase Two or Phase Three will contract with Housing and Residential Life at Florida Poly. Phase 2 and Phase 3 offer a mixture of single- and double-occupancy rooms. Room types are not guaranteed and are based on availability.

*IMPORTANT* The Fall 2024 housing application is now open for students who have paid their Enrollment Deposit. Ready to get started? Follow these simple steps to complete your housing agreement:

  1. Please proceed to the StarRez portal. Once on the homepage, select login which is in the right-hand corner of the screen.
  2. Select the FLORIDAPOLY – Student SSO Login and input your Florida Poly Credentials.
  3. Once logged in, please select application tab from the banner.
  4. In the Application Selector, select the Academic Year 2024-2025 lease and begin the application.
  5. Follow on-screen directions until you have electronically signed the agreement. Only when you have signed the agreement, someone from our office will review and approve the agreement. Once approved, the agreement will be fully executed.

Please contact our housing department with any questions at housingandreslife@floridapoly.edu.

Housing FAQ for Students and Parents/Guardians

We ask students and their parent/guardian to carefully read the following.

Fall 2024: Phase Two and Phase Three is currently operated by Florida Polytechnic Housing and Residential Life. Students contracting with Phase Two and Three will work directly with the department of Housing and Residential Life on next steps in the contracting process.

Phase One is currently operated by Capstone Management Partners operating as the Student Living Leasing Office. The university works closely with our partners at Capstone, but students leased with Phase One will work directly with Capstone to facilitate the next stages of the lease agreement after the Office of Admissions.

Fall 2024: All leases and contract agreements are written for the fall and spring semesters. The contract DOES NOT automatically renew into the following year. It is an annual process, and you will be notified of the contracting process and timing by Housing and Residential Life. Summer contracts and leases are separate and based on the summer term a student is enrolled in.

Fall 2024: Roommate assignments are managed by Capstone Management for Phase One and by Florida Polytechnic Housing and Residential Life for Phase Two and Phase Three. Specific roommate requests can be emailed to the respective contracting/leasing group after you have completed the entire contracting/leasing process. Please note that due to the large volume of residents living on campus, room requests including, but not limited to, roommate preference, floor preference, bedroom preference or floor plan preference may not be accommodated. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Fall 2024: For Phase Two and Phase Three, your housing charges will be automatically added to your student ledger on CAMS and can be paid through CAMS. The Authorization to Apply Financial Aid to Housing Charges DOES NOT have to be completed.

For Phase One, Student aid applies to tuition and fees first, then your meal plan (required for those who live on campus). Any remaining balance can apply toward a student’s housing cost. Students wishing to use financial aid to apply toward housing costs must complete the “Authorization to Apply Financial Aid to Housing Charges” form for each semester of enrollment they wish to do so, and email to financialaid@floridapoly.edu. If approved, the student will be sent a Financial Aid Addendum from the Student Living Office.

If you have a Prepaid Dorm, it pays for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, double occupancy room on campus. Prepaid Dorm does not pay for deposits, application and administrative fees, or the cost differential for room upgrades. You will be responsible to pay any cost differential associated with room upgrades or fees associated with your lease. Any questions regarding Florida Prepaid should be directed to Student Business Services  or 863-874-8406.
