  On-Campus Housing

On-Campus Housing is first-come, first-serve and not guaranteed for any student until they sign their lease. When On-Campus Housing for 2022-2023 is full, this form automatically transitions you onto the housing waitlist.

Housing Request Form

Fall 2022 Housing Request Form

The Fall 2022 Housing Request Form is now available. All admitted students must submit the Housing Request Form in order to live on campus. Space is limited and on campus housing is not guaranteed. 

Once admitted students submit their Housing Request Form and indicate they want to live on campus, students need to be prepared for the next steps of the leasing process. Additional details will be sent via email, but here is a preview:

  • Scanned copy (in preparation to upload) of a Valid Government Issued ID (i.e: driver’s license). Do not use a high school student ID or a selfie. Neither of those is government-issued IDs.
  • If you are a minor, under 18, you will need a scanned copy of the ID of the guarantor (usually a parent/legal guardian) in preparation to upload.
  • A credit card or debit card to pay the housing application fee ($135)

Housing FAQ for Students and Parents/Guardians

We ask students and their parent/guardian to carefully read the following.

The residence halls are currently operated by Coastal Ridge Real Estate operating as the Student Living Leasing Office. The university works closely with our partners at Coastal, but they will work with each student directly themselves to provide and facilitate the next stages of the lease agreement after the Office of Admissions.  

All lease agreements are written for the fall and spring semesters. The contract DOES NOT automatically renew into the following year. It is an annual process, and you will be notified of the renewal process and timing by Student Living during your first year. Summer leases are separate and based on the summer term a student is enrolled in. 

Roommate assignments are managed at this time by Coastal. Specific roommate requests can be emailed to Coastal after you have completed the entire leasing process. Please note that due to the large volume of residents living on campus, room requests including, but not limited to, roommate preference, floor preference, bedroom preference or floor plan preference may not be accommodated. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that Coastal is doing their best to honor all room preferences as best possible.

  • Room assignments will be sent out in late July or early August and will include the first name and phone number of your future roommate(s). It will also include detailed instructions about what to expect on move-in day.

Student aid applies to tuition and fees first, then your meal plan (required for those who live on campus). Any remaining balance can apply toward a student’s housing cost. Students wishing to use financial aid to apply toward housing costs must complete the “Authorization to Apply Financial Aid to Housing Charges” form for each semester of enrollment they wish for to do so, and email to financialaid@floridapoly.edu. If approved, the student will be sent a Financial Aid Addendum from the Student Living Office. 

If you have a Prepaid Dorm, it pays for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, double occupancy room on campus. Prepaid Dorm does not pay for deposits, application and administrative fees, or the cost differential for room upgrades. You will be responsible to pay any cost differential associated with room upgrades or fees associated with your lease.
