About
Kelly McCarthy joined Florida Polytechnic University in 2025 as Associate Director of Institutional Effectiveness. Prior to this, she had more than a decade of experience from the University of South Florida, where she directed assessment and evaluation initiatives for the Morsani College of Medicine.
Before transitioning to higher education, McCarthy spent seven years teaching mathematics in Hillsborough County Schools. This blend of classroom teaching, assessment, and institutional research has shaped her data-driven approach to advancing organizational effectiveness and fostering continuous improvement.
