Musa Norouzian Reykandeh

Assistant Professor

Dr. Musa Norouzian joined Florida Polytechnic University in 2021 as an assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Prior to joining Florida Poly, Norouzian was a postdoctoral associate at the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2019 to 2021. Norouzian’s research is focused on computational and experimental nondestructive materials characterization using ultrasound. His research has a broad range of applications, including nondestructive evaluation of microstructures, real-time characterization of additively manufactured (AM) materials, structural health monitoring (SHM), and quality control of manufactured products.
