Canvas Learning Management System

• Canvas is the official learning management system (LMS) used at Florida Poly.
• All for-credit courses, student work, and students grades are stored in Canvas.
• Access requires a Florida Poly email address.
• Training is available via the Faculty Canvas Training course.

Success Primers

• Success Primers is a non-official instance of Canvas.
• A Florida Poly email address is not required to access Success Primers.
• Faculty, staff, and student clubs can create non-credit and training courses.
• Courses can be set to self-enroll.
• Training is available in the Student Orientation course.

Creating a Success Primers account: 

• Create a student account to enroll in courses.
• Create a faculty account to teach courses.

IT Training

Technology Services provides a variety of different training workshops and resources to all University faculty, staff, and students free of charge.

For those who prefer in-person training, the department also offers a series of instructor led training on-campus. See below for a schedule of upcoming training sessions.
