Rico Despiau

About

Rico is a Human Resources Business Partner at Florida Polytechnic University, where he has been part since 2018. In this role, Rico assists with and facilitates the recruitment of faculty and staff, manages visa sponsorships, enforces compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, and prepares internal and external personnel data reports. Additionally, Rico assists in the development and tests Workday recruitment/HCM processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in the university’s human resources information system (HRIS).

Rico brings both analytical and strategic expertise to his work. His efforts contribute to institutional growth, compliance, and an improved employee experience through streamlined HR processes and technology.
