The Office of Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, & Strategic Communications is responsible for nearly all student-facing functions at Florida Polytechnic University. Under the leadership of Vice President Bryan Brooks, the office oversees key areas including student success, student experience, campus life, admissions, financial aid, marketing, and university communications.
This division plays a central role in shaping the student journey from recruitment and enrollment to engagement and graduation while also guiding the University’s strategic messaging and communications.
Enrollment Management
Dr. Andy Oguntola, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management, leads the Enrollment Management division at Florida Polytechnic University. The division serves as the primary gateway for prospective students eager to join the University’s cutting-edge, STEM-focused community, overseeing the entire admissions journey from initial inquiry to final enrollment.
Enrollment Management plays a pivotal role in attracting and selecting students with a strong passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through comprehensive resources, timely communication, and dedicated support, the Office of Admissions and the Office of Financial Aid empower students and their families to make well-informed decisions — cultivating a diverse, driven student body that reflects the University’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
Tuition & Financial Aid
Florida Polytechnic University offers among the most affordable STEM-focused tuition in the State University System, and the Office of Financial Aid helps students and families understand the full cost of attendance and the resources available to meet it.
The office provides a wide range of services, including assistance with scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs. It is committed to ensuring that students can access the resources necessary to pursue their academic goals, regardless of financial background. Through personalized financial counseling and support, the Office of Financial Aid empowers students to make informed decisions about funding their education and staying on track for graduation.
Student Affairs
Student Affairs is led by Dr. Jon Pawlecki, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs. The Office of Student Affairs at Florida Polytechnic University is dedicated to enhancing the overall student experience by fostering a supportive and engaging campus environment. It oversees a wide range of services and programs that promote student well-being, personal growth, and academic success. From student organizations, housing, and campus activities to counseling and career services, the office plays a pivotal role in helping students thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Through its commitment to student development, the Office of Student Affairs ensures that students have the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
The Student Success Center is the central hub for academic support and student development at Florida Poly. It is dedicated to helping students thrive both in and out of the classroom by providing personalized resources and guidance throughout their academic journey.
The center’s team of professional success coaches offers one-on-one academic coaching tailored to each student’s needs, including support for first-year students transitioning to university life. It also oversees key programs such as Peer Learning Services (PLS), Florida Poly’s peer tutoring initiative, and leads student leadership development opportunities. In addition, the center provides specialized support for Pell-eligible students to ensure equitable access to academic success.
Strategic Communications
The Office of Strategic Communications is led by Samantha Lane, Director of University Marketing and Lydia Guzman, Director of University Communications. They are responsible for promoting the University’s brand, programs, and achievements to a broad audience. Through strategic communication, digital campaigns, and creative initiatives, the office works to enhance the University’s visibility and reputation. It crafts messages that reflect the institution’s distinctive focus on STEM education, innovation, and student success. By managing the University’s digital presence, social media, and external communications, the Office of Strategic Communications ensures that Florida Poly’s story is effectively shared with prospective students, stakeholders, and the broader community.
