Exam Information

Stay on top of your exam schedule by checking this page regularly—especially the week before exams begin. Details may change, so don’t get caught off guard!

There are no common or out-of-class final exams during the summer semester. For exam details, refer to your course syllabus or contact your instructor directly.

Some courses schedule exams outside regular class time. If your course has requested an out-of-class exam, it will appear on the schedule below.

  • Exams will be held at the listed times and locations.
  • If multiple rooms are listed, your instructor will let you know which one to go to.
  • If your course isn’t listed, reach out to your instructor.

Exam Conflicts

  • If you have two exams scheduled at the same time, notify both instructors. The instructor of the higher-numbered course must offer a makeup exam that fits into the final exam week without causing further conflicts.
  • STEM Core courses take priority and cannot be rescheduled, even if their course number is higher.
  • If an exam conflicts with your evening class, the course offering the exam must provide a makeup.

Reminder: Attending class is essential. Don’t skip lectures to study—it’s not worth missing important instruction.

Final exams take place during the designated week on campus, as shown on the Academic Calendar. Check the updated schedule carefully, and reach out to your instructor if you’re unsure about your exam time.

Scheduling Conflicts:

  • Students with overlapping exams or more than two on the same day must contact their instructors.
The instructor of the higher-numbered course is responsible for offering a makeup exam.
  • Students needing a makeup exam should work with their instructor to agree on a day, time, and location.
