The university’s employee awards program, Ablaze, was created in 2018 to acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of the university’s faculty and staff in a variety of areas including teaching, research and service to others.
The 2019 award winners were announced at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 17 at the Magnolia Building in Lakeland, Florida. About 60 employees were nominated for at least one of six awards.
