Nomination Process

Nomination Process

  • All staff and faculty are invited to participate in nominations. Students may only submit nominations for the Excellence in Teaching Award.
  • Nominations must be submitted through the electronic nomination form located on the website and included in the Weekly Phoenix. They must include information describing the ways in which the nominee’s achievements and contributions reflect the awards principle criteria and attributes. Nominators should make a clear and compelling case and describe how the nominator is in a position to have accurately observed that the nominee meets the criteria for the specific award.
  • Additional documentation may be included to help the selection committee fully appreciate the nominee’s achievements.
  • Employees may be nominated for more than one award. Additional nominations must be made as separate submissions, taking into consideration the criteria for the award category.
  • Nominations must be submitted by current employees.
