We are excited to introduce Ascend, the new name for our annual employee recognition
event, formerly known as Ablaze. This year, under President Stephenson’s leadership,
we are taking a different approach—one that celebrates all faculty and staff for their dedication and contributions.
While we traditionally highlight individuals who go above and beyond, this year, we
want to recognize everyone who makes Florida Poly an exceptional place to work and
learn. Next year, we will return to individual awards, but we have heard you. In
the hiatus, we will be rethinking the awards and processes around them. We look forward
to your feedback along the way. So, for now, we sincerely say:
