Christos “Taki” Tsetsekas is a senior at Florida Polytechnic University studying mechanical engineering with a concentration in aerospace.
He is president of the University’s Student Government Association. Prior to this, he served for two years as SGA’s director of external affairs, working closely with Melia Rodriguez, its former president.
A native of Palm Harbor, Florida, Tsetsekas also is an undergraduate research assistant for Dr. Edwar Romaro Ramirez. Their research focuses on the concept of power generation from human movement.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree, Tsetsekas plans to pursue a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He hopes to one day establish his own engineering firm and aims to design and create mechanisms that will positively impact the world.
