Clifford K. (Cliff) Otto is CEO of Saddle Creek Logistics Services, headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, responsible for directing the company’s business including warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, and value-added services. He joined Saddle Creek in the fall of 2001.
Prior to that, Otto spent 11 years with CHEP USA where he was senior vice president for North American sales after serving as general manager of CHEP’s Midwest region from the launch of the US business in 1990. Preceding CHEP, he served in various executive management roles in logistics and finance with Baxter Healthcare and American Can Co.
Otto earned a bachelor’s from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He has held several leadership roles with various grocery industry associations, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and served as the national president of Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC). He currently serves as Chairman of International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) and locally serves on a number of boards. Otto also serves on the Atlanta Federal Reserve Board Logistics Advisory Committee.
He and his wife, Kathy, reside in Lakeland.
