About
DeAnn Doll came to Florida Polytechnic University in May 2014 as its very first human
resources professional. She has been instrumental in helping the University grow and
develop its faculty and staff workforce into the vibrant, energetic environment that
it is today. Doll served as the human capital management (HCM) lead in collaboration
with other campus-wide team leads to design, configure, and test the Workday system
that the University implemented as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
Prior to coming to Florida Poly, Doll was the human resource/finance manager for the Ann Arbor District Library in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from 1996 to 2014, where she managed both the human resources and finance departments. Doll has spent her entire career in the finance/HR fields. She enjoys the field of human resources because it allows her to get to know so many people. She likes the fact that she gets to interact with new employees and gets to know their backgrounds and a little bit about them as people.
Doll is excited to complete her MBA in December 2020. The coursework and studies have given her a broader perspective of the business side of HR and its impact on the larger organization.
