Edwina “Winnie” Hall currently serves as the executive assistant to the vice president and chief financial officer at Florida Polytechnic University. In her capacity as an executive assistant, she is responsible for maintaining multiple calendars, scheduling meetings, securing locations and preparing correspondence, as well as coordinating travel plans and scheduling reimbursements. She is the risk management liaison on behalf of Florida Poly with the other State University Systems and coordinates regularly with the Florida Department of Financial Services and the Florida Department of Management Services.
Hall schedules and prepares Finance and Administration Division staff meeting agendas and takes minutes for the Board of Trustees Finance and Facilities Committee Meetings. She is currently the administrative point of contact for Event Management System scheduling and conflict controls. Her administrative duties include purchasing and reconciliation of multiple cost centers, budget preparation, customer service, and periodic analyzation of data.
Prior to her experience in higher education, her career included eight years in the Polk County School District, five years in the Bay County School District, multiple years working with the Department of Defense. She is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
