Mark Mroczkowski is an experienced CFO, businessman and entrepreneur with 40 years’
experience. The first half of his career was in the practice of public accountancy
providing audit, tax and advisory services to Florida’s privately owned and publicly
traded corporations, NGOs and local governments. He also has been instrumental to
his clients in procuring corporate equity, debt and project finance. During the second
half of his career, he has been the Chief Financial Officer for three companies –
in the oil and gas industry, technology industry and Internet industry, respectively.
The latter two companies are publicly traded.
During his career, Mroczkowski was the owner of a CPA firm and a leasing company,
co-owner of an independent oil and gas producer, an import-export firm, a technology
company and a beer distributorship. His love of start-ups and early stage ventures
attracted him to the exciting opportunity at Florida Polytechnic University, which
opened for classes in August 2014.
He is a graduate of the College of Business at Florida State University and a Florida
Certified Public Accountant. He also holds a commercial pilot’s certificate and is
a licensed real estate broker.
