About

Roquiah Francis came to Florida Poly in 2018 as the registration and records specialist in the Office of the University Registrar.  In 2020 she transitioned to her current position in International Student Compliance and Records to take on the role as the university’s primary Designated School Official (DSO) to maintain the F-1 Visa Student Exchange and Visitors Program (SEVP) and assist with F-1 student compliance advising in International Student Services (ISS). 

Previously, Francis worked for four years as a technical writer in quality assurance for the Engineering and Internal Auditing Department at the Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA. Prior to this she was employed a total of 10 years at Armstrong State University (now Georgia Southern University – Armstrong campus) in the Office of Financial Aid and University Registrar. She is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard.
