Vanessa Lewis has served as Florida Poly’s senior graphic designer since 2016 and designed the university’s new logo that was unveiled in August 2017. Her professional career has also included nearly two years at the University of North Florida as the graphic designer for Enrollment Services as well as time with a start-up company in New Orleans where she played a vital role in the concept and design of a toy called Lil’Bit Crawfish Boil Set. While living in Louisiana, she also spent a year at an advertising agency.
Lewis attended Flagler College where she earned a pair of bachelor’s degrees – one in graphic design and the other in Spanish. She also received a minor in fine art. Her time there included a study abroad opportunity with a non-profit web agency in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a member of AIGA, the professional association for design.
Florida-born, Lewis’ family moved to Indiana when she was three where she grew up in Carmel, a small town north of Indianapolis. She enjoys traveling, decorating cakes and being involved with Grace City Church. She currently lives in Lakeland with her husband, Robert, and their two dogs, Timona and Pumba.
