Delegations of Authority are intended to supplement the authority granted to the the President of Florida Polytechnic University through the Board of Trustees Resolution 2023-001 on the Powers and Duties of the President, Florida Statutes, and University Policies, Regulations and Rules.
The Delegations of Authority contained herein are valid for the period or purpose specified in the delegation or until revoked by the delegator in writing. Most delegations cannot be further delegated and are subject to other limitations. Please carefully review the text of any delegation before acting.
Although addressed to individuals, the Delegations are intended to delegate the specific authority described to the office and title of the recipient delegee.
In the case of the President's prolonged absence from the office, the Delegation of Successors outlines the leadership allowed to assume all of the authority and responsibility of the President until the Board of Trustees takes further action.
