Florida Poly breaks ground on state-of-the-art research building

Florida Polytechnic University leadership and elected officials celebrated the groundbreaking of the Applied Research Center on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019. The facility will be the second academic building on the University campus in Lakeland, Florida.

Florida Polytechnic University leaders and community and state officials gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Applied Research Center, a new iconic building on campus that will serve as a research hub for students, faculty, and high-tech industry in the region.

Florida Poly unveils plans for state-of-the-art research building

Florida Polytechnic University announced plans to build another iconic building on its campus that will serve as a research hub for the Central Florida region, becoming a magnet for high-tech development around the school. The 85,000 square foot Applied Research Center (ARC) will house research and teaching laboratories, student design spaces, conference rooms, and faculty offices.
