Florida Poly ID Card

The Official Identification Card

The Florida Poly Card is the official identification card of Florida Polytechnic University. It is issued to all members of the Florida Poly community, including students, employees, and vendors.

The Florida Poly Card is used for:

  • Meal Plans and Phoenix Funds (purchased via CAMS)
  • Florida Poly Bucks (purchased via Student Link)
  • Door Access
  • Copy/Print 

To be issued your Florida Poly Card you need to:

  1. Be currently accepted and enrolled
  2. Submit a photo, see instructions below
  3. Attend orientation to pick up your Florida Poly Card
  4. Verify identity by presenting a valid government issued photo ID, such as driver's license, state-issued ID, passport or military ID.

Your Photo

Students should use the following guidelines to take and submit their ID card photo.

To ensure your photo will be accepted, make sure to follow the following guidelines:

  • Take a photo that represents the way you look most days. Please remove anything that obstructs the view of your face. 
  • Look straight at the camera.
  • Photo must be in color without any filters applied.
  • The photo shouldn't have anyone else in it. No photobombing, pets, or group selfies!

Take a horizontal photo of yourself using your mobile phone of computer webcam. The photo should include your head, neck, and the top of your shoulders.

If you're on campus, feel free to stop by the Selfie Station in the Wellness Center to take your photo in front of a purple background.

Log into your Student Link account and upload your photo.

Stop by the Auxiliary Enterprise Service Center in the Wellness Center to pick up you new ID card. Make sure you bring a government issued photo ID (like a driver’s license or passport).

Finding Your ID Card Number

  1. Visit Student Link
  2. Select “Student and Staff Login”
  3. Log in using your Florida Poly credentials
  4. Select “Personalize”
  5. Select “Virtual Card Display” 
 

Lost or Stolen Cards

  • During business hours: Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately by either calling 863-874-8432 or visiting Auxiliary Enterprises in the Wellness Center during normal operating hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ID cardholders are responsible for all transactions that occur before their card is officially reported as lost or stolen.
  • Before or after business hoursLost or stolen cards should be reported immediately through your Student Link account.
