Florida Poly Card

Florida Poly Card

The Florida Poly Card is the official identification card of Florida Polytechnic University. It is issued to all members of the Florida Poly community, including students, employees, and vendors.

The Florida Poly Card is used for:

  • Meal Plans and Phoenix Funds (purchased via CAMS)
  • Florida Poly Bucks are needed to pay for print on campus (purchased via Student Link)
  • Door Access
  • Copy/Print 

To be issued your Florida Poly Card you need to:

  1. Be currently accepted and enrolled
  2. Submit a photo, see instructions below
  3. Attend orientation to pick up your Florida Poly Card
  4. Verify identity by presenting a valid government issued photo ID, such as driver's license, state-issued ID, passport or military ID. If you have not been issued a government ID we will accept an original social security card, original birth certificate and a piece of mail sent to the address on file with the University.

Students should use the following guidelines to take and submit their photo.

To ensure your photo will be accepted, make sure to follow the following guidelines:

  • Photograph must be in color, just you in the photo, no filters.
  • Background should be solid light color without designs or patterns. Avoid panel doors as background.
  • Full front view facing the camera at eye level from above the head to across the top of shoulders with enough space around the face to crop photo square.
  • No hat, earbuds or other headgear or dark glasses unless required for religious or medical reasons. 
  • JPG format is preferred

Take a  photo of yourself using your mobile phone of computer webcam.

If you're on campus, feel free to stop by the Selfie Station in the Wellness Center to take your photo in front of a purple background.

Log into your Student Link account to submit your photo.

When  picking up your Florida Poly Card bring a valid, original (not image on phone) government issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport. If you have not been issued a government ID we will accept an original social security card, original birth certificate and a piece of mail sent to the address on file with the University. 

  • Newly admitted students living in a residence hall pick up their first Florida Poly Card on move-in day.
  • Newly admitted students not living on campus pick up their first Florida Poly Card on the first full day of Orientation.

After the first day of Orientation, Florida Poly Cards will be available in the Auxiliary Enterprises Service Center located in the Wellness Center.

Returning students can replace their Florida Poly Card at the Auxiliary Enterprises Service Center.

Find Your Virtual Florida Poly Card

  1. Visit Student Link
  2. Select “Student and Staff Login”
  3. Log in using your Florida Poly credentials
  4. Select “Personalize”
  5. Select “Virtual Card Display” 
 

Lost or Stolen Cards

  • During business hours: Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately by either calling 863-874-8432 or visiting Auxiliary Enterprises in the Wellness Center during normal operating hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ID cardholders are responsible for all transactions that occur before their card is officially reported as lost or stolen.
  • Before or after business hoursLost or stolen cards should be reported immediately through your Student Link account.
