Admissions Counselor Bratisha Smith is an outgoing, goal-driven and detail-oriented professional with experience in administrative, analytical, and customer-related positions. At Florida Poly, she visits high schools and recruits students in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. Additionally, she has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from the University of South Florida, where she graduate cum laude.
Before joining Florida Poly, she worked as the Graduate Assistant in Enrollment Communications at Saint Leo University. There she was responsible for managing student workers, social media communication and written communication to admitted students. In addition, she has worked as a performance improvement clerk at Gracepoint; customer service representative for Aerotek; and a student assistant at University of South Florida. She also was a legal administrative intern in Nassau, the Bahamas.
She noted that education has changed her life after moving from the Bahamas on her own at the age of 17. She seeks to help other young people better themselves and improve their opportunities through STEM education.
