Regina Delulio provides leadership and oversight to a team that supports the University’s Board of Trustees and handles legal matters for the University. The mission of the Office of the General Counsel is to provide sound legal advice, accurate information, and prompt services to the University, its Board of Trustees, the Florida Industry and Phosphate Research Institute, and the Florida Polytechnic University Foundation.
The office supports the mission of the University by organizing the Board of Trustees’ meetings; negotiating, preparing and reviewing legal documents; assisting in the creation and promulgation of regulations, rules and policies; and representing the University in administrative and judicial proceedings.
Delulio has more than 20 years of experience providing legal counsel in higher education and brings a wealth of knowledge to the position. Prior to joining Florida Polytechnic University, she served as Associate General Counsel at Florida International University in Miami, General Counsel at the University of West Florida, and Associate General Counsel at the University of South Florida, where her major areas of responsibility included purchasing, auxiliary enterprises, contracts, information technology and regulation development. She also taught School Law in the Educational Leadership Program at Barry University.
She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of West Florida.
