Finding the Hope and Heroes

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and well. In this uncertain, tense time, one thing remains constant – around the world educational institutions are rallying to meet the unprecedented challenges created by the coronavirus pandemic. Amid our collective anxiety and confusion, hope and heroes emerged in our Florida Poly community.

  • Students gamely transitioned to new instructional models.
  • Faculty and staff adapted overnight to the complexities of creating the new instructional models and then supported the infrastructure on which we depend.
  • A faculty-led team is manufacturing plastic face shields on the University’s 3D printers providing personal protective equipment for frontline healthcare workers.

As we move into a new, exciting season of growth, we need the continued, strong support and partnerships of our closest, most cherished friends. The importance of your generosity has never been more evident than right now.

I look forward to engaging with you at the various events throughout the year.
