Patrick Hagen is an attorney at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, where he represents manufacturers, distributors, and business owners in complex commercial disputes across state and federal courts. His practice focuses on helping companies navigate high-stakes litigation with clarity, efficiency, and strategic foresight.

His Lakeland roots run deep—formed through his education at Southeastern University and early leadership experience at GEICO’s Lakeland office. His role on Florida Poly’s Board reflects a long-term commitment to investing in Florida’s future, and he supports Florida Poly students through mentorship, especially those pursuing careers at the intersection of law, business, and technology.

Before joining Nelson Mullins, Patrick served as a law clerk to judges on Florida’s state-appellate and federal-district courts. He earned his J.D. from Regent University School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Regent Law Review.

Based in Tallahassee, he shares legal writing insights with thousands of attorneys and in-house counsel on LinkedIn and enjoys helping shape the next generation of thoughtful advocates. He and his wife, Lindsey, live in Tallahassee with their four children—and whenever possible, he’s on a pickleball court.
