Dr. Jaeyoun Oh is an instructor of mathematics at Florida Polytechnic University. Before joining Florida Poly, she spent a year at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) as a visiting assistant teaching professor after her graduation in 2018. She also worked as a graduate teaching assistant in the math department at USM and taught her own sections of undergraduate level math courses. As a Ph.D. student, she was a founding officer of the USM chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics. Her research interests are focused on solving PDEs by using mesh-free methods, and they include the development of novel techniques and the designs of adaptive algorithms.
