Dr. Younggil Park is an associate professor of mechanical engineering at Florida Polytechnic
University. Before joining Florida Poly, he was an assistant professor of mechanical
engineering at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and an assistant professor
of mechanical engineering at the University of Texas-Pan American.
Park has published 15 research papers in peer-reviewed journals in thermal-fluid sciences
and engineering education. From 2016 to 2018, he was a co-PI of South Texas Industrial
Assessment Center, funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. From 2015 to 2017, he
organized and directed K-12 engineering summer camps supported by the Texas Higher
Education Coordinating Board and University Transportation Center for Railway Safety.
