Eunice M. Alberson joined Florida Polytechnic University April 2023 as the associate
vice president for human resources/CHRO. She leads the HR team, which assists in developing
clear strategy, creating a positive work environment, fostering diversity and inclusion,
and supporting faculty and staff recruitment and retention efforts. Together we make
a significant impact on the university's success.
Prior to joining Florida Poly, Alberson spent 12 years with the University of Arkansas
in various roles, her last role being the director of human resource partners, where
she led a team of 20 HR partners.
Alberson married her husband, Thomas, in 2002. She is a mom to her bonus daughter,
Mercedes, 30, and daughter, Alyssa, 20. She is also grandmother to 6-year-old Ember.
In her spare time, she enjoys beach life and traveling with her family. Alberson plans on retiring in Costa
Rica one day where she and her husband will teach English as a second language.
