With over a decade of expertise in social media strategies, Rachel Casey stands as a trailblazer in digital marketing and analytics. Casey began her journey with Florida Polytechnic University in 2021, stepping into the role of Digital Media Coordinator. Recognizing her talent and dedication, she was promoted to the position of Assistant Director of Digital Media in 2022.
At the University, Casey has become well known for her iconic photography around campus. From the serene landscapes to the vibrant student life, Casey’s photography encapsulates the spirit of Florida Poly. In addition to managing the University’s social media presence and capturing the photography of campus, Casey coordinates all videography, commercials, and high-level marketing shoots.
Prior to Florida Poly, Casey honed her visual and marketing skills at Scott Enterprises in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she managed an impressive portfolio of 27 social media accounts simultaneously. Her ability to adapt the language and tone of each account to reflect its unique brand identity set her apart as a versatile and adept professional.
Casey's previous experience extends to prominent business organizations as well, such as the Lakeland and Winter Haven Chambers of Commerce. For years, she captured the essence of important community events through her photography, and managed the social media strategies for both chambers, successfully expanding their digital presence. She was also involved in coordinating ribbon-cutting ceremonies with city officials, where she demonstrated her knack for fostering connections and promoting the local economy.
Additionally, Casey has traveled to Tallahassee with her clients to photograph key meetings and events with legislators, and strategically promote them via social media. Her talent has also transcended regional boundaries, with her photographs gracing billboards in both Erie and Lakeland.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Casey finds joy in exploring Lakeland and the nearby beaches with her husband and two young boys, Oliver, and Reed.
