Sherri Pavlik came to Florida Poly in 2018 and serves as the executive assistant to the University’s vice president and general counsel. In her role, Pavlik provides executive-level support to the general counsel team and assists with special projects. She also manages the department’s budget and records minutes for various meetings including the Board of Trustees Governance Committee.
Pavlik serves on three University committees: the University Non-Academic Policies and Procedures, the Employee Activities Committee, and the Workday Operations Team.
Before coming to Florida Poly, Pavlik served for several years as executive assistant to the president of Hamilton College, in upstate New York. In this position, her primary duties included budget management, travel arrangements and coordination, and preparation and coordination of all meeting preparation tasks (schedules, travel, briefing materials, etc.) for the Board of Trustees. She also managed all tasks generated from meetings and coordinated between departments. Additionally, she provided executive assistance and support to the Hamilton College chief of staff, senior staff, trustees, alumni, and a wide variety of external organizations and visiting VIP’s.
In her free time, Pavlik enjoys spending time with family and friends, scuba diving, billiards, and traveling.
