Sherri Pavlik

Sherri Pavlik joined Florida Poly in 2018 as the executive assistant to the University’s vice president and general counsel. Pavlik completed a certification in paralegal studies from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2023. Pavlik’s role in the office includes managing special projects such as responses to public records requests, subpoenas and discovery requests. Pavlik also oversees the financial and operational budgets for the office and serves as the office representative at all Florida Poly Systems Coordinating Group meetings. Pavlik is the primary focal point for all communication with the office of the general counsel, both within the university and with our community and statewide partners.

In addition, Pavlik’s responsibilities include support for the collective bargaining management team, the Office of Public Policy Events, the Government Audit and Compliance Committee and the office of patents and technology transfer.

Before joining Florida Poly, Pavlik served as executive assistant to the president at Hamilton College, where she managed the president’s schedule, travel, budget, and Board of Trustees coordination. She played a pivotal role in supporting high-level decision-making and fostering communication across departments.

In her personal time, Pavlik enjoys traveling and recently visited Amsterdam, Iceland, and Ireland, where she explored her passion for kayaking with large man-eating ocean predators. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, scuba diving, playing billiards, and volunteering at the Alan Jay Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts. A passionate advocate for work-life balance and lifelong learning, she continues to seek personal and professional growth.
