LAKELAND, Fla. – Florida Polytechnic University congratulates Foundation Board Member President of American Compliance Technologies, Inc. (A.C.T.) Rob Kincart for being selected to the 2016 Gator100 fastest growing companies.

The Gator100, sponsored by the University of Florida (UF)’s Warrington College of Business and the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center, recognizes and celebrates the achievements of leading UF alumni entrepreneurs around the world.

The Gator100 ranks the 100 fastest-growing, Gator-owned or Gator-led businesses each year—regardless of which school or college the alumni graduated from—recognizing the entrepreneurial spirit in all Gator alumni.

A.C.T., one of Florida Poly’s industry partners, posted an annual revenue growth rate of 44.39%, ranking it number 46 among the 100 companies selected. Founded in 1987 in Lakeland, Florida, A.C.T. is a multi-disciplined firm with expertise and field services in a range of areas including environmental science, engineering, industrial service and waste management.

“We could not be more proud of Rob and his company,” said Florida Poly President Dr. Randy K. Avent. “Rob has done an outstanding job of leading A.C.T., and he has brought relevant industry experience to our institution. Partnering with companies like A.C.T. is a significant part of our mission and curriculum.”

Kincart, a 1972 UF graduate, is Florida Poly’s Foundation Finance Committee Chair and one of the founding members of the Florida Polytechnic University Foundation. He has previously served on the Polk State College Board and is a long-time Lakeland resident.

“What a remarkable and well deserved accomplishment for Rob,” said Loretta Sanders, Foundation Board Chair. “For years, Rob has been an outstanding member of the community. We knew from the start he would be a perfect addition to our Foundation Board as we take pride in working with the best and the brightest to assist with implementing Florida Poly’s vision.”
