Florida ranked No. 1 in Higher Education rankings from U.S. News & World Report

For the third consecutive year, Florida has been named the No. 1 state in the country for higher education by U.S. News & World Report. Florida Poly is the 12th and newest of the state universities in Florida, and the only university dedicated exclusively to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education.

The rankings are based on a variety of factors, including the percentage of Floridians with college degrees, the time it takes to complete both two- and four-year programs, the cost of in-state tuition and fees, and the average debt of graduates. The rankings were released May 15.
