Employee Florida Poly Card

Official Identification Card

The Florida Poly ID Card is the official identification card of Florida Polytechnic University. It is issued to all faculty and staff and is required to access essential campus services.

The card serves as an ID card and can be used to pay for purchases in the dining halls (with a paid meal plan) and several online services, including the library and printers/copiers. 

During employment onboarding submitting a photo for your Florida Poly ID Card will be task to complete in Workday. Upon receipt of an approved photo and on/after official start date, the card will be printed and notification sent when it is ready for pick up. 

Your Photo

You provide the photo to appear on your card

To ensure your photo will be accepted, make sure to follow the following guidelines:

  • Photo must be in color with no filters applied.
  • Background should be solid light color without designs or patterns. Avoid panel doors. 
  • Full front view facing the camera from above the head to across the shoulders with enough space around face to crop photo square. 
  • No hats, earbuds or other headgear or dark glasses unless required for religious or medical reasons. 
  • jpg format is preferred.

Take a  photo of yourself using your mobile phone or computer webcam. 

Email your photo to selfie@floridapoly.edu. Please include your name and employee number if available in the subject line.

An email will be sent when the card is available for pick up. Be sure to bring an original valid government issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport.

Lost or Stolen Cards

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately by calling 1-863-874-8432 or visiting the Auxiliary Enterprise Service Center in the Wellness Center during normal operating hours. ID holders are responsible for all transactions that occur before their card is officially reported as lost or stolen.

After business hours: Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately through your Student Link account.
