An alert is issued when a situation arises in which the university determines that there is an ongoing threat, whether manmade or weather-related, that presents an immediate threat to the health and safety of people on campus.
Students and employees with a valid Florida Poly email address are eligible to receive alerts at different phone numbers and email addresses. Although those without a floridapoly.edu email address cannot sign up for alerts, those who do have an account can add an email address or phone number for emergency contacts.
