As the storm leaves the state, we want to remind our University community that all classes and operations will remain remote for the rest of Wednesday, Aug. 30. We will return to in-person classes and resume all normal operations on Thursday, Aug. 31.
As we prepare to reopen campus tomorrow, we want to emphasize that safety is always our number-one priority. We encourage students who face unsafe travel conditions, or who may be assisting family members affected by the hurricane, to email success@floridapoly.edu for help with any potentially missed classes or academic work. Employees under the same circumstances should talk with their supervisor or email HR@floridapoly.edu.
Based on the most recent model showing intensification of Hurricane Idalia, Florida Poly will shift to online classes and remote operations from 5 p.m. tonight through Wednesday, Aug. 30. At this time, we anticipate returning to normal, in-person classes and operations on Thursday morning.

Strong winds and rain may affect our campus beginning this evening, so we have decided to shift to online classes and remote operations from 5 p.m. tonight to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30.
