Quality Enhancement Plan

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is an integral component of the reaffirmation of accreditation process and is derived from an institution’s ongoing comprehensive planning and evaluation processes. It reflects and affirms a commitment to enhance overall institutional quality and effectiveness by focusing on an issue the institution considers important to improving student learning outcomes and/or student success.

After a lengthy research and inquiry process, Florida Poly is proud to deliver its complete Quality Enhancement Plan to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Our plan, FL PEER: Florida Poly Engaged Education pRoject*, aims to boost 1st-2nd year retention (APR) and overall student success and progression. The program consists of enhance peer-learning support, student leader training for these roles, and develops a community of practice among faculty and success coaches to work with student leaders on improving achievement in the first year and beyond. The primary objective is growth in the University’s Academic Progress Rate with a longer-term objective of improving the University’s graduation rate.
