Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Strategic Communications

The Office of Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Strategic Communications has primary responsibility for the student affairs, enrollment management, and strategic communications functions of the University. Led by the Vice President for Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Strategic Communications, the office leads nearly all student-facing functions on campus including student success, student experience, student activities, campus involvement, admissions, financial aid, marketing, and university communications.

Bryan Brooks is the Vice President for Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Strategic Communications. As vice president, he oversees all aspects of the university’s ongoing operations involving student success, student affairs, enrollment management, and strategic communications.

Student Success

Student Success is the hub of student support services. Florida Poly is fully committed to supporting its students inside and outside the classroom and the University offers services and resources to assist students in their academic pursuits.

The Student Success Center is staffed by success coaches who provide academic coaching on a variety of topics, including freshman student adjustment to the University.   Student Success also plays a role in the PLS program, which is the universities peer learning program, in leadership programs, and in support of Pell students. 

Enrollment Management

The Office of Admissions at Florida Polytechnic University serves as the gateway for prospective students looking to join the university’s innovative STEM-focused community. This office guides students through the entire admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience. It plays a critical role in recruiting and selecting students who are passionate about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Tuition and Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid at Florida Polytechnic University plays a vital role in supporting students by helping them navigate the financial aspects of their education. It provides a wide range of services, including assisting students in applying for scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs. The office is committed to ensuring that students have access to the resources necessary to pursue their academic goals, regardless of their financial background. By offering personalized financial counseling and support, the Office of Financial Aid at Florida Polytechnic University empowers students to make informed decisions about funding their education and staying on track for graduation.

Student Affairs

Student Affairs is led by the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Jon Pawlecki.  The Office of Student Affairs at Florida Polytechnic University is dedicated to enhancing the overall student experience by fostering a supportive and engaging campus environment. It oversees a wide range of services and programs that promote student well-being, personal growth, and academic success. From managing student organizations, housing, and campus activities to offering counseling and career services, the office plays a pivotal role in helping students thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Through its commitment to student development, the Office of Student Affairs ensures that students have the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.

Strategic Communications

The Office of Strategic Communications at Florida Polytechnic University is responsible for promoting the university’s brand, programs, and achievements to a broad audience. Through strategic communication, digital campaigns, and creative initiatives, the office works to enhance the university’s visibility and reputation. It plays a key role in crafting messages that reflect the institution's unique focus on STEM education, innovation, and student success. By managing the university's digital presence, social media, and external communications, the Office of Strategic Communications ensures that Florida Poly’s story is effectively shared with prospective students, stakeholders, and the broader community.
