Rather than simply reading textbooks and listening to lectures, Phoenixes put their new knowledge into practice with hands-on projects and other activities. This helps bring lessons into focus and foster a deeper understanding of the material.
Every Florida Poly graduate enters the workforce with a resume that highlights their real, professional experience. Every student is required to complete an internship before graduation, placing them inside the world of high-tech employers and showing them how they can put their skills to work while learning more about their future career options.
Each student also must complete a senior capstone project. Sponsored by industry partners, these projects call for interdisciplinary teams to work throughout the academic year to solve a real challenge the business is facing.
