All students at the University shall maintain and regularly check their University
student email account for official University communications since the University
uses email as the official mode of communication with students.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, or FERPA, is the United States
federal law that protects student records privacy review and disclosure rights. The
law guarantees these rights for both current and former Florida Poly students.
The University provides its IT Resources to authorized users to facilitate the users’
legitimate objectives in a secure electronic environment.
