Becoming an international student in the United States has many steps and can be complicated to navigate on your own. Our international admissions team is here to guide you through the process, step-by-step.
International students that satisfy all university admission requirements, and pay the $200 enrollment deposit, will work with the Florida Poly Office of Admissions to provide all documentation required for the I-20 process. Students will need to take this form, along with a copy of the acceptance letter and proof of available funds, to nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
Complete an international admission application.
Submit your official scores for the SAT (school code: 7303) and/or the ACT (school code: 2869).
Submit your scores for at least one English proficiency exam (TOEFL, IELTS, or MELAB). Students with an Associate of Arts degree or higher from a U.S. institution, or an institution whose primary instruction language is English, may waive language proficiency testing requirements.
Send us your official high school transcripts. Currently, Florida Poly accepts transcripts evaluated through the following services:

Immigration regulations require evidence of the source of funding; finances must be liquid assets available to cover the total cost of attendance (COA) for each academic year and until the completion of the academic program. Submit an International Transfer Application
Send official transcripts from each postsecondary institution you’ve attended. If your coursework was completed outside of the US, please have a course-by-course translation and evaluation of your transcripts completed and sent directly to us.
If the evaluation of your transcripts shows that you have not yet earned the equivalent of an associate degree, then we will also need copies of your High School transcript and SAT or ACT scores.

Admission to the master’s program at Florida Poly requires the completion of a four-year degree in a related area at a recognized institution. When the original credential and/or grading scale is written in a language other than English, the description provided here includes the minimum amount of translation and modifications.
Please note that all education systems, credentials, and grading scales are subject to change. Standards vary from institution to institution, and even year to year. Determination of credentials and grades is always, to a certain extent, interpretive and subjective.

The graduate program enrolls students for the fall term only. The deadline for the admissions application and all supporting documents is July 15. No decision will be given until after the July 15 deadline.

If your cumulative undergraduate GPA is below a 3.25, please also submit official GRE scores (school code: 0071). If your cumulative college GPA is a 3.25 or higher, the Graduate Admission Committee may waive the GRE requirement.
