Presidential Scholars
The Presidential Scholars program is for high-achieving incoming students who possess an innovative spirit partnered with academic success. Selected students typically have an SAT score between 1400 and 1600 in conjunction with strong performance in mathematics and sciences. Presidential Scholars have also demonstrated their unique innovative spirit. Recipients of this scholarship will receive a $50,000 scholarship paid over four years.
The 2021 Presidential Scholars Competition will be comprised of two parts:
- Competition Video
- Competition Interview
The competition will take place between December 7 and January 29. Students must submit their video and complete their interview by January 29.
Students who have a complete admissions file by November 1 will be reviewed for consideration. Students who are recommended and accepted as nominees for the Presidential Scholars Program will be notified by December 1. Presidential Scholar nominees will then receive further instructions on submitting their competition video and how to schedule their competition interview.
