Academic Success Coaches

Academic Success Coaches are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday by telephone or Microsoft Teams meetings. Contact or 863-874-8642 to schedule an appointment.

Online tutoring has been organized for all mathematics classes, as well as Physics 1 and 2, Chemistry, and writing services.

Counseling Services

Care Services has adjusted support to provide online therapy for students in order to practice social distancing. Students experiencing an urgent mental health need have access to on-call counselors and overnight/weekend emergency phone-support service remains available. For access to all services, call 863-875-8599, email or reach out to a mental health professional 24/7 at 1-800-878-5470.

Self-help is also available 24/7 via TAO (Therapy Assistance Online) Connect. TAO Connect can help you manage your emotional well-being and includes modules for developing your ability to bounce back from disappointments and setbacks. Sign up using the enrollment key FloridaPoly123!

Food Pantry

Located in Academic Success Center East (on the first floor of Residence Hall II), the food pantry is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to food items, toiletries are also available at no cost. Students are encouraged to stop by anytime during business hours.

If it’s after hours, students can contact campus police to gain access to the food pantry at any time. Off-campus students can visit this website for information on food pantries available near them. 


Student Government Association Emergency Relief Scholarship Fund

The Student Government Association has established an emergency relief fund to help students who need assistance during this national pandemic. Phund-A-Phoenix is being administered through the University’s financial aid office to ensure the privacy of students. For more information, reach out to
