The battle of the brains is on! Florida Poly’s Integral Bee is an annual math competition that’s all about who can solve integral equations the fastest. Since 2017 faculty from the math department partner with the student lead math club to put on this competition. Winners are awarded prizes and ultimate bragging rights on campus.
“The goal is to attract students to math by engaging them in exciting activities like these. It is also very enthusiastic, encouraging and rewarding to see how they compete against each other to find solutions to math problems fast as lightning.” – Dr. Udita Katugampola (Assistant Professor of Mathematics).
